Began to learn and install CPVC systems in apartments throughout Tempe. Learned code

requirements for residential systems. Also learned about steel systems and different install

requirements and different products available.

Left Grinnell in Phoenix to join the union in Las Vegas Nevada instead hired on at Grinnell in Las

Vegas, worked in the service department as a helper doing service work. flushing systems with

anti freeze doing add and relocates and anything else .After some time transfered back to Arizona

to help install systems in a 10,000 bed correctional facility under construction at the time.

Tried my luck as a PIECE WORK fitter. Installed reidential systems in apartments as well as

custom homes.On a piece work basis. Learned how to be more efficient. Called my own

inspections. Walked with Fire Marshall doing inspection. learned to pay attention to detail

learned more code requirements.

Phantom Fire Protection – Phoenix, AZ

Came to work for a close friend who started his own fire protection company. Did small jobs like

strip malls and tennent improvements. add and relocates. Learned first hand how to manage

small jobs, accounting for labor and time and material, keeping GC's informed and learning of the

importance of completing on time.

Aero Automatic Sprinklers – Phoenix, Az

Installed systems in a downtown 20 story hotel. Also installed CPVC systems on a 20 story

residential dorm in Tempe. Was recruited to help install sprinkler system for a project for INTEL

at there latest processor chip plant known as FAB 42 in chandler, Az. one of the safest projects at

that time. Adhering to not only NFPA 13 requirements, but more importantly FM GLOBAL

requiring the install to be within a 1/4 tolerance per print. Also assisted installing systems in

AMAZON FULFILLMENT CENTER

Texas Sprinkler – Grapevine, Texas

Wanted to be more involved in my teenage son life and being laid off from Aero i moved to Texas.

Was hired as a foreman. Was given a 3600 head mixed use project consisting of a 3 story tower all

CPVC and single story units surrouding in steel with dry systems for the attic spaces. managed 20

men installing all different type systems. Working safely. Was responsible for inventory of all

material delivered as well as ordering material needed. conducting safety meeting for our onsite

workers. attended weekly foreman meeting with other trades, documenting daily reports as well.

Did inspections with local fire marshals for green tag. As well as inspections with the state of Texas

(TDAD) prior to recieving certificate of occupancy's for the building, consisting of week long

inspections for each trade adhering to strick install requirements far and above local authorities

physically walking the whole project. Testing each system required by NFPA 25 and state of Texas

upon completion. did a few similar projects of this type as well. Also installed retro system for Iron

Mountain document storage facility already occupied with no accidents or water damage.

Helped install warehouse systems in Amazon Fullfilement Center.
